Privacy Policy

SCORM Studio · Last updated 6 July 2026

SCORM Studio is built so your work stays with you. It runs entirely on your device, there are no accounts to create, and it does not send your courses, imported files or packages to us or anyone else.

The short version. We do not collect your personal data. We have no servers that store your content, no login, and no tracking. Your projects live on your device and in whatever storage you choose, such as the Files app or iCloud Drive. Purchases are handled by Apple, not by us.

Who we are

SCORM Studio is provided by Jonathan Lewington trading as SCORM Studio (“we”, “us”). If you have any questions about this policy or your privacy, contact us at jonathan.lewington+scormstudio@gmail.com.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. SCORM Studio does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address or any personal details to work. We do not operate analytics or tracking that reports your activity back to us.

Your content stays on your device

Everything you do in SCORM Studio happens locally. When you author a course, import a PowerPoint file, inspect a SCORM package or export a finished package, that processing runs on your device. Your files are not uploaded to us and are not sent to any third-party service for processing. They remain in the app and in any location you deliberately save or share them to, under your control.

Purchases

SCORM Studio is sold through the Apple App Store. When you buy the app, Apple processes the payment and handles the transaction. We never see or store your card details or billing information. Apple’s handling of that data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Diagnostics and crash reports

SCORM Studio includes no crash reporting or analytics of its own. However, as the platform and App Store provider, Apple may still collect some diagnostic information. If you have left analytics sharing (“Share With App Developers”) turned on in your iOS or macOS settings, Apple may make anonymised, aggregated crash and usage reports available to us to help fix bugs and improve the app. This data is collected and anonymised by Apple, reaches us only in aggregate, and is not used to identify you. You can control or disable it at any time in your device settings under Privacy & Security, and Apple’s own collection is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Third parties

SCORM Studio contains no advertising, no third-party trackers and no analytics SDKs. The only third party involved in the ordinary use of the app is Apple, in its role as the App Store and platform provider.

Children

SCORM Studio is a professional authoring tool intended for course creators and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because we do not collect or hold personal data about you, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct or delete on your behalf. If you are in the UK or EU and have questions about your rights under the UK GDPR or GDPR, you can contact us at jonathan.lewington+scormstudio@gmail.com and we will help where we can.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app works in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
